We would like to inform you about the new legislation regarding the management and protection of personal data at Manu-Mail NV.
First of all,

Your customers' data are and remain protected!
We obviously keep the personal data you provide to us in order to ensure the proper functioning of our services. For over twenty-two years, we have been doing everything in our power to keep this data as secure as possible and to delete it regularly. In an ever-changing digital world, we have done everything in our power to protect your data from hackers and malicious people through additional computer security, advanced dual firewalls and a confidentiality agreement with our staff.
What data do we have available:
- Billing data
- Possibility your customer database
Does this mean you have to stop your actions:
Absolutely not, the impact of the GDPR on direct marketing is positive because it explicitly
recognizes the legitimacy of marketing communications to customers,
without requiring prior customer consent.
What to do in your direct mail campaigns:
There are a total of 6 legal bases under the GDPR, 2 of which are relevant to direct marketing:
-legitimate interest
-the authorization
-the need for agreement
-vital importance
-the general interest
-compliance with legal obligations
The two most common bases that can justify direct marketing communications are:
-the legitimate interest of the company (or the recipient of the data)
